This is my first Sophie Kinsella book so I was quite sceptical before I started reading it, the only reason I picked it up was because of the fact that there was a friendly ghost in this book and the book had some mystery to it. Once I started reading it I was drawn into the lives of Lara and Sadie and truthfully I enjoyed their company. The start was quite good we were introduced to the primary leads and the way their bond develops is quite fun to read. Though at times I found the book to be boring, I think it certainly would have benefited if it had been 50 pages less as it would have resulted in the story being crispier.
